Michelle and her husband, Tim, have lived in the district for 8 years, and are proud pet parents to two dogs, a cat, and a bunny. Michelle works as a Global Marketing Manager for an employee-owned business in the personal and professional industry, and also serves as the President of the Illinois Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW). While working to pass the ERA, Michelle participated in a speaking tour, meeting with grassroots groups across the state, and was also able to testify in front of the Senate Executive Committee and the House Judiciary Committee of the Illinois legislature. After meeting with so many of her fellow Illinoisans and speaking with countless state legislators, she was inspired to take her civic leadership to the next level. This experience helped her to better understand how to get things done in Springfield and how to lead with integrity. Michelle has a proven track record of hard work and effective leadership, and she is ready for the opportunity to serve the 37th District.
